Start of the project «Karpaty – Run in UA»

The project «Karpaty - Run in UA» is an international competition of skyrunning and nordwalking on Goverla (2061 m), which will be held on June 5, 2016, which are intended to prepare Ukrainian athletes to beating the Guinness record (most established chasu4: 22: 10 am) on Elbrus (5642 m) in September 2016. As well as an opportunity to compete with well-known European champion Isabella Zatorsky who titled silver medals 1999.2001; bronze - 2000,2001rr; took first place; won the Grand Prix at the world championships. Among the participants of the project will be well-known European and Ukrainian sports stars, as well as the younger generation of athletes.

«Karpaty - Run in UAH» - is not just a race, it’s a project that educates young people love the sport and a sense of responsibility to nature. Competition program includes massive environmental action entitled "Clean Mountain".

 Objectives:

• The preparatory phase before beating the Guinness record on Elbrus -Zatorska 2016;
• Conducting of international competitions;
• Promotion of mountain running, Nordwalking and recreation in Ukraine among children, youth and adults;
• Organization of ecological action "Clean Mountain" after the event;
• Tours and exploring the picturesque Carpathian land;
• The implementation of a major project related to promotion of the region and tourist services.
